Flensburg/Jena, 30/10/2020: Prof. Stefan Liebing and Prof. Andreas Freytag have jointly written an article for the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung about using social market economy against outdated role models when cooperating with African countries. Contemporary development policy renounces paternalism. It relies on the market when negotiating projects and brings the partner countries into competition with each other to create favorable conditions for investment.
