Hamburg, 31/05/2023: Prof. Dr. Kay Pfaffenberger participated in the bi-annual Africa reception hosted by the African Consulates based in Hamburg. As many as 19 consular representations have invited representatives from society, politics, business and science to gather and exchange about latest developments in Africa. Katharina Fegebank, Deputy Mayor of Hamburg and Member of the State Government (“Senate”) in charge of Science and Research, spoke on behalf of Mayor Peter Tschentscher. CBTA member Prof. Dr. Stefan Liebing, a co-host of the event in his capacity as the Honorary Consul of Cameroon, gave a keynote about economic development on the continent and German investment in Africa.
