Tri-WI: Business Computing

A trilateral cooperation between Flensburg University of Applied Sciences (HS Flensburg), the Institut de Technologie et de Management (ITM) in Douala, Cameroon, and the School of IT of the Polytechnic of Namibia in Windhoek has been set up in the field of Business Computing. This cooperation complements the existing cooperation between FH Flensburg and the Polytechnic of Namibia and is currently supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) through the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)  for Africa programme.

The aim of the cooperation is to create a harmonized study structure on postgraduate-level in Business Computing with adjusted course contents, mutual acceptance of modules and opportunities for integrated semesters abroad. Exchanges of students and lecturers are an important aspect of the cooperation. Autumn Schools in Flensburg and Spring Schools in Cameroon provide an opportunity for students from Cameroon, Namibia, and Germany to work together on relevant topics.
