PEESA II – Student Exchange
Vanderbijlpark (South Africa), 04/03/2017: The programme PEESA II of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) successfully conducted a student exchange with students from universities in Namibia (NUST), South Africa (TUT, VUT, CPUT) and Germany (HS Flensburg and HS Wismar). The programme consisted of a research on the topic of energy efficiency in which the students closely worked together and, at the same time, of a competition in which the students competed.
The aim of the programme was to identify and quantify possible savings with regards to energy at the Vanderbijlpark University of Technology. Furthermore the students got to know the different methods of teaching learning of the participating universities. The first picture shows the winners of the competition from the Universities of Applied Science of Flensburg and Wismar and the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST). The other pictures show all participants of the exchange.
