we, Flensburg University of Applied Sciences and in particular the Centre for Business and Technology in Africa, are pleased to invite you to a panel discussion. The topic is “Africa as a continent of opportunity in the context of global crises”.
On Friday, 10 June 2022, from 1.00 p.m.-3.00 p.m. in room C28/29 (C-Building) at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences.

The aim of the event is to debate opportunities and prospects for Africa against the background of the prevailing world situation.
Experts from business and politics will be present.
The event will start with an opening speech by the President of Flensburg University, Dr. Christoph Jansen, and Prof. Dr. Thomas Schmidt, the Founding Director of the Centre for Business and Technology in Africa. Afterwards, the Chairman of the German-African Business Association (AV), Prof. Dr. Stefan Liebing, will give a short keynote speech.
This will be followed by the discussion with Prof. Dr. Stefan Liebing and the invited guests, H. E. Thomas B. Amolo, Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya and Volkmar Klein, Member of the German Bundestag.
Moderator will be Prof. Dr. Kay Pfaffenberger, Managing Director of the CBTA.
The conference will be held in English.
