Logistics in Namibia

Windhoek, 23/03/2022: In a large gathering, including Nelly Oelze and Kay Pfaffenberger, there was a very open exchange about the challenges of the NGCL (http://www.centreforlogistics.org) and a timeframe for a solution was worked out. Dr. Noamab, who has been Vice Chancellor of the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) for 1.5 years, as well as Prof. Dr. Pfaffenberger as Head of the Centre for Business and Technology in Africa agreed that the Centre is an important building block for Namibia as a logistics hub and should be further developed. Both expressed their gratitude for the open and constructive discussion on the topics.
Prof. Dr. Nelly Oelze is in charge of the CBTA and will steer and supervise the project in cooperation with the DAAD and the colleagues of the NGCL. Among other things, Prof. Dr. Oelze is specialised in sustainable supply and logistics chains.
