Panel discussion on “Smart Villages” at Gregorian University in Rome

Flensburg, 15/02/2025: Prof. Dr. Stefan Liebing will participate as a speaker at the event “SMART VILLAGES” on February 25, 2025 at the renowned Gregorian University in Rome. The event is dedicated to rural development in Sub-Saharan Africa, with a special focus on increasing access to basic infrastructure such as water, energy, sanitation and internet for women in rural areas.

The event is organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Pontificia Università Gregoriana and brings together high-profile speakers from different fields to discuss solutions for the sustainable development of rural regions.

  • Prof. Dr. Matthias Theodor Vogt, Director of the Saxonin Institute for cultural Infrastructures, Visiting professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Pontifical Gregorian University

The event will end with an open debate in which participants will have the opportunity to exchange views with the speakers and contribute their perspectives.
