Flensburg/Heilbronn, 07/01/2021: Marcus Brandenburg and his colleague Gerd Hahn from German Graduate School of Management and Law (Heilbronn/Germany) have published a paper entitled “Financial performance and firm efficiency of automotive manufacturers and their suppliers – A longitudinal data envelopment analysis” in the peer-reviewed open access journal “Logistics Research” published by BVL. The study assess evolutions of firm efficiency and financial performance in automotive supply chains. It reveals similarities and differences between OEMs and their suppliers regarding the importance of value drivers and detects periods of performance losses and recovery from the global economic crisis.
