Harare/Maputo, 10/11/2022: The Universities of Applied Sciences in Wismar and Flensburg, which are running the Cape-VET project together with the Europa-Universität Flensburg (EUF) and the Cape Penninsula University of Technology (CPUT), started the distribution trip in November. The first stop was Harare, Zimbabwe, where the project results were presented at Maranatha Christian University (MCU). There is a high level of interest in cooperation in southern Africa.
The second part of the trip took the project to Maputo in Mozambique. Here, State Secretary Nilsa Miquidade from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education received the group to discuss the possibilities of applying the project results in Mozambique. The project members also had the unexpected opportunity to speak with the German Ambassador to Mozambique, Lothar Freischlader. The next stop will be Cape Town.
