Deepening Contacts in Kenya
29/06/2015, Juja: During a one-week stay in Juja, Kenya, Martin Kühn from the Centre for Business and Technology in Africa used the chance to deepen the relationship to the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).
At the University he met Philip Oyier, Chairman of the IT Department, to dicuss the setting up of activities at the Kenyan-German Centre for Data Analytics. Another focus was put on the laboratory for Data Analysis and cooperation with industry at the School of Computing and Information Technology (SCIT).
Martin Kühn also prepared students who will take part in this year’s Autumns School taking place in Flensburg for their stay in Germany and answered questions about a semster in Germany. A visit at the International Office of the JKUAT and the Regional Office of the DAAD was very informative concerning our exchange programme and the Spring School that will take place in Juja next year.
