Flensburg, 22/07/2021: The DLR-Projektträger held its regular project review of the CAPE-VET project. The consortium presented the state of affairs and the project goals that had been achieved or not achieved due to the pandemic. Thanks to continuous communication with the DLR as project management agency on behalf of the BMBF, the review was successfully completed.
Furthermore, possibilities for project extension were discussed, which would require a new application. Overall, the consortium judged it possible to achieve all the original project goals within the framework of an extension. The 3+9 model (three months of financing from saved project funds, 9 months of financed extension) will be tackled by the project partners after being requested by the project management agency.
Participants were Petya Gospodinova and Jelena Zascerinska from Wismar University of Applied Sciences, Matthias Bockhold from DLR Projektträger and Jonas Gebhardt from Europa Universität Flensburg. Martin Kühn and Kay Pfaffenberger represented the Centre for Business and Technology in Africa.
