Bonn, 20/10/2021: The Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, Flensburg University of Applied Sciences, Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences and Weihenstefan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences met in Bonn to establish a network of Universities of Applied Sciences (UAS) active in Africa. The intention of the network is to create synergies between the existing Africa projects and to initiate new joint Africa projects. The network is also intended to become a mouthpiece for UAS with Africa projects towards national and international decision-makers. In the workshop, focal points of the current work in Africa and selected projects were first presented. Afterwards, the goals of the group were discussed. The next meeting is planned for December.
