Flensburg, 23/09/2019: Professor Maarten Kamper from Stellenbosch University, South Africa, has visited Flensburg University of Applied Sciences to have a discussion on wind energy technologies. Within the lecture series of WETI, he brought up the necessity of wind energy in South Africa and touched the topic of the specific research in this area.
Contact with Stellenbosch University was established within the PEESA-Project (Programme on Energy Efficiency in Southern-Africa). The goal of the project is to increase the number of high-level experts within renewable energy sector and to enhance the quality of higher education in South Africa.
