2nd Autum School 2014: “Africa – Paths to Growth”
09/09/2014, Flensburg (Author: MK) Building on the success of the 2013 Autumn School, the 2nd Flensburg Autumn School will take place from 15th to 29th September 2014.
During the first week, 8 Students from Cameroon and 7 students from Namibia will visit innovative firms in Flensburg and the region, for example “Interschalt maritime systems” and “TNT Express” to gain insight in current trends in logistics and IT.
In the second week, the African students will develop ideas and solutions in a workshop on markets and opportunities in Africa. The workshop will be held together with German students of the Bachelor Business Administration with specialization “Business in Africa”. Part of the workshop will be the web-based “Fresh Connection” business simulation. During the simulation, students will have to make strategic decisions in the management of a manufacturing company of fruit juices to save the company from ruin.
