Project AfrInvest in Namibia

23/08/2014, Windhoek (Author: THS): Professor Schmidt is teaching a course “Decision Support Systems” in Namibia. The first part of the course was done as a face-to-face session in Windhoek 14/08-23/08/2014, where all theoretical aspects have been taught. The students are now busy with a project work to implement the theory into a practical environment. The project aims at enabling easy access to the essential key performance indicators in selected countries of sub-Saharan Africa and is a follow-up of the course held in Flensburg in 2013 and 2014. It shall provide for a fictional group of investors a decision basis for fast and qualitative correct assessment of the opportunities in the respective regions.
