Maria Manuela dos Santos Lucas, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Republic of Mozambique. It marked the second high-level exchange with the Mozambican government within a short period, following an earlier meeting with the Minister of Public Works and Water Resources. The Foreign Minister underlined her government&#8217;s clear interest in expanding German-Mozambican cooperation, with a particular focus on economic partnership and concrete investment and infrastructure projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These exchanges take place as international financial institutions, led by the World Bank, support Mozambique through a multi-year financing programme of around USD 6 billion for economic recovery, institutional strengthening, and resilience.
