Prof. Dr. Kay Pfaffenberger was Conference Co-Chair and gave a keynote speech on &#8220;<em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-highlight-color\"><strong>Impact of the European Green Energy Transition on Africa &#8211; Need for Action of a Sustainable and Successful Approach<\/strong><\/mark><\/em>&#8220;. His presentation focused on two aspects: Local content and the need for skilled workforce and the challenges to close the gap between European needs and African sustainable development. Towards the end of his speech, a fruitful discussion ensued, which unfortunately stretched the timetable of the event.
