{"id":6053,"date":"2023-01-30T11:14:22","date_gmt":"2023-01-30T09:14:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www2.wi.hs-flensburg.de\/africacentre\/?p=6053"},"modified":"2023-02-01T23:36:12","modified_gmt":"2023-02-01T21:36:12","slug":"event-in-the-german-bundestag-and-book-presentation-of-the-new-edition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www2.wi.hs-flensburg.de\/africacentre\/event-in-the-german-bundestag-and-book-presentation-of-the-new-edition\/","title":{"rendered":"HAW Africa initiative in the German Bundestag"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Berlin, 30\/01\/2023: On 26 January 2023, the HAW Africa initiative organised an information event in the German Bundestag with the help of the German-African Business Association under the patronage of Dr. <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color\">Karamba Diaby<\/mark>, Member of the German Bundestag and Chairman of the Africa Discussion Group of the SPD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was entitled: &#8220;<em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-highlight-color\">Applied sciences as a driver for innovation in Africa &#8211; Dr. Kay Pfaffenberger handed over one of the first copies of the second edition of the book &#8220;Praxishandbuch Wirtschaft in Afrika&#8221; to Dr. Karamba Diaby. The new <\/mark>edition has already been presente<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">d in <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.wi.hs-flensburg.de\/africacentre\/practical-handbook-on-business-in-africa-published-in-2nd-edition\/\">this blog post<\/a>.<\/mark>  In the 2nd edition, new developments on the African continent are taken up and up-to-date answers are given to the classic questions that must be answered by every player who wants to be economically successful in Africa: WHY Africa is interesting for business, WHERE the greatest prospects for success exist, HOW to proceed and WHICH approaches to shaping future economic relations between Germany and Africa are promising.
