Most African students that come to Germany\u00a0combine their internship with a semester abroad at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences.<\/p>\n<h4>Semester Abroad for students<\/h4>\n<p>This program is ultimate for students who are self-assured in their ability to prosper while living abroad and want to commit to a 6 months program. \u00a0During\u00a0a semester abroad, a student can enriched experience. \u00a0Funds are made available by our donors (mostly DAAD) to cater for tuition and living expenses.\u00a0 A semester abroad is more than an academic adventure; it\u2019s an experience that can change a student\u2019s life and career path. This program is exactly directed to meet a student\u2019s expectations in such a way that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>A student gains practical experience directed to the main program of study.<\/li>\n<li>An opportunity is offered to complete courses not offered\u00a0at Home University.<\/li>\n<li>Foreign language skills are improved.<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to Advanced IT systems.<\/li>\n<li>Experience life away from home.<\/li>\n<li>Meet students from around the world &amp; interact with other cultures.<\/li>\n<li>It boosts a student\u2019s confidence in the ability to thrive while leaving abroad.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Teaching and research exchanges for lecturers<\/h4>\n<p>We want to give our staff and lecturers from\u00a0Africa and Germany the chance to gain new insights and\u00a0experience on the respective partner continent.
